MENOPAUSE
By definition, skipping twelve months of menstruation in a row, officially confirms the incidence of menopause. Menopause is when the ovarian production of estrogens, progesterone, and testosterone decline.
The average onset age of menopause is around 50. Preceded by the perimenopause phase, the menopause can start ten years earlier than average. Often, the first signs that perimenopause has started are shorter cycles, irregular cycles or both. |

Psychological, emotional, and physical impairment manifests as loss of energy, physical strength, and sexual desire or libido; agitation, depression, forgetfulness, insomnia, and other mood changes manifest. Because menopause is part of every woman’s natural cycle of life, there is no way to stop its onset; all women will go through menopause at some point in their lives. However, the difference among these women is how they deal with its degenerative effects on the body.
If you are a woman approaching or suffering from menopause, bio-identical hormone therapy, administered in the correct proportions, at the correct times, is the natural and rational approach to keeping yourself active, healthy, and vigorous at any age. Also, when you replace your lost hormones, you are avoiding chronic age-related diseases. We strongly encourage you to start treatment early, since the effects of hormonal imbalance may not be physically apparent as late as 10 to 15 years after, when the occurrence of bone loss, cognitive loss, and muscle loss, have already taken place. |
